MAKE UP MOCK UP

MAKE UP MOCK UP

In today's post I am going to tell you about few very interesting beauty fixes that will transform you straight away from eek to chic. These makeup mantras are indeed very useful for all of us.
Sometimes it happens with all of us... after that one look in the mirror and wishing you could head right to bed. But another long, stressful day at work awaits you, and that's the exact time you have notice to prim and preen for. So instead of going for full make up rituals we have few tricks and tips to cheat our way out of these beauty emergencies.

PUFFY EYES

Puffy eyes are a result of water retention, which occurs as a result of ageing, stress or plain lack of sleep. When your body doesn't get enough fluid, it holds on to whatever it has and caused retention. Get a beauty routine in place where you wake up and drink two glasses of H20 first thing in the morning.

QUICK FIX
For instant results, place a metal spoon in the freezer for a few minutes, and rub the cold spoon around the eyes.

MAKE-UP FIX
Pull out that vanity case. Camoflauge by applying a cream foundation under the eyes. Opt for a colour that is one shade darker than your skin, as this gives depth to swollen eyes. Try using kohl on the inside of the upper lid as this definitely open up the eyes.

DARK CIRCLES

This beauty blah is one by which women of all ages can easily relate. This is the biggest beauty bummer. Lack of adequate shut eyes causes the tiny veins under the eyes to dilate and prevent the smooth flow of oxygen in the area.

QUICK FIX
Cool a couple of used tea bags and place them under your eyes for few minutes. Tea contains tannin, a substance known for its antioxidants properties.

MAKE-UP FIX
Ditch the black Kajal and eyeliner. Create a visual camouflage by using blue, green or purple coloured eye pencil as liners. If you must use mascara, use transparent one, or better still opt for purple mascara, as it tends to enhance brown eyes.

DULL, SALLOW SKIN

Trying to function on too little sleep is the main reasons. Add an unhealthy diet to the mix and it's bound to show up on your skin.

QUICK FIX
Turn to the kitchen shelf for a quick solution. Scrub off the dead cells with the milk. Reverse an empty milk bag, insert your hand in it like you are wearing a glove, and gently rub the creamy side on your face. Leave the cream on for about 15 minutes . Then gently massage with a loofah. Wash off with hot water that has a few drops of lavender oil added to it. And voila! you'll have skin that looks fresh and radiant.

MAKE-UP FIX
Take some mineral foundation, add to it some powdered bronzer and blend evenly all over your face and neck for an instant glow. Add some colour to your cheeks by using a blusher.

LIFE LESS/ DEAD LOCKS

A reproduction of natural scalp oils from your sebaceous glands. An oily scalp is mostly hereditary.

QUICK FIX
Blow out excess oil from your hair by using some talcum powder. Lightly sprinkle some powder on your hair and dab off with a tissue. If you've got long hair, then tie it into a low bun for a sophisticated look.

MAKE-UP FIX
You can also combat this problem of oily, flat hair by using a volumiser. Spray some water onto your hair and use a volumiser.
The trick is to use it along the sides, as volume in the middle will make your hair look stiff and unnatural.
